Situation
Vanguard Operations is a Lithuania-run Arma Reforger community, built for players who want real, well-planned operations — not chaotic deathmatch.
We run three servers under one command: Freedom Fighters — currently hosting our live Partizanai 1989 campaign — plus a dedicated PvE operations server, run together with our partners Legiao Portuguesa, and a dedicated PvP invasion server — Andriivka, attack versus defence — both live now.
Every server keeps its own scenario, map, and rules — and every kill, every operation, feeds into the same after-action ledger.

1989
A campaign inspired by the postwar Lithuanian partisans — the Forest Brothers — and their resistance. Command small resistance cells against an occupying army: ambushes, a courier network, hidden bunkers, and the constant risk of being hunted down. Asymmetric warfare on the West Zagoria terrain.

After the Molotov–Ribbentrop Pact carved Eastern Europe into spheres of influence, Lithuania fell under Soviet control and was occupied. Mass deportations to Siberia began. Young men started gathering in the forests in small groups, and more and more people joined the fight for freedom and independence. Partisan units formed across every region of the country.
A growing network of supporters helped them hide, gathered intelligence, and supplied the equipment they needed to keep fighting the occupiers. The partisan movement became a serious problem for the occupying forces, who spread propaganda to discredit the partisans — the partisans answered in kind, calling people to fight for Lithuania and freedom.
With so few resources, the Forest Brothers often had no choice but to raid Soviet troops — seizing weapons, vehicles and supplies, or hitting key targets outright. Soviet forces vastly outnumbered them, so unity and cunning were everything. For a free Lithuania.
Afganistanas 2005
Our previous Freedom Fighters campaign, set during the international operation in Afghanistan. NATO-allied coalition units patrolled hostile terrain, secured key installations, and backed up local forces against dispersed but determined fighters. Retired to the archive — footage lives on below.
